Our Production Equipment & Manufacturing Capabilities

Huateng Metal Products (Dongguan) Co., Ltd.

At Huateng Metal Products (Dongguan) Co., Ltd., precision manufacturing is not a promise — it is built into the machines on our shop floor. Established in 2010 and a member of Huayi International Industry Group Limited (Huayi Group), our 2,800-square-meter facility in Dongguan is home to 110 employees and a complete range of CNC machining, sheet metal and wire-forming equipment. Backed by 21 years of hands-on industry experience, we serve customers in more than 60 countries across Europe, the Americas, Japan and Australia — from Fortune 500 companies to fast-growing OEMs in automotive, UAV, communication equipment, electronics and medical devices.

As a source factory, we keep every stage in-house: product design and drawing review, prototyping, tooling, mass production and final inspection. The article below walks through our five core production technologies — CNC turning, CNC milling, sheet metal stamping, sheet metal fabrication and wire EDM — and shows what each one delivers for your parts.

1. CNC Turning

CNC turning is the backbone of round-part production. A workpiece rotates against a stationary cutting tool to produce cylindrical features — shafts, pins, bushings, sleeves, housings and threaded components — with excellent roundness, concentricity and surface finish.

Our turning department is equipped with 12 CNC turning machines, programmed and supervised by engineers with more than 10 years of machining experience. Integrated with our milling fleet, the turning cell also supports mill-turn combinations, so complex parts can be completed in fewer setups with better consistency and lower cost.

Parts are machined from our database of more than 200 metal materials — including stainless steel, aluminum alloys, alloy steel, titanium and brass — and hold tolerances within ±0.001 mm thanks to imported Japanese and German machine tools that are regularly calibrated and maintained. First articles are dimensionally verified with CMM and profile projectors, and every batch is traceable from incoming material to final shipment.

Typical applications: motor shafts, valve spindles, connector housings, threaded fasteners and precision pins for automotive, medical devices, communication equipment, UAVs and electronics.

2. CNC Milling

CNC milling is where complex geometry meets production efficiency. Using rotating multi-flute tools, our machining centers produce slots, pockets, contours, threads and 3D surfaces from solid blocks of metal — the technology of choice for brackets, housings, structural parts and one-piece integrated components.

With 60 CNC milling machines, including 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis centers, milling is the largest and strongest capability in our factory. Five-axis machines allow complex aerospace and medical parts to be machined in a single setup: for example, a satellite bracket for an American aerospace supplier was milled in one five-axis operation, cutting weight by 15% while meeting vibration test requirements.

Our engineers combine CAM programming with a material database of more than 200 metals and custom tooling solutions for hard-to-machine alloys such as titanium, magnesium and Inconel. A European medical device customer, for instance, worked with our milling team on material substitution — from stainless steel to titanium — to develop precision joint components for a surgical robot that passed FDA certification.

Under our ISO 9001 quality system, every milling order moves through incoming material inspection (IMI), first article inspection (FAI), in-process quality control (IPQC) and 100% final key-dimension re-measurement (FI) using CMM and profile projectors — with photos and videos documenting the entire production journey.

Sheet metal stamping press producing formed parts

3. Sheet Metal Stamping

Sheet metal stamping delivers high volumes of identical metal parts at the lowest cost per piece. A stamping press forms sheet metal blanks into finished components — brackets, mounting plates, housings, terminals and connector parts — in a single, repeatable stroke.

Our stamping workshop operates 10 punching machines, supported by downstream finishing equipment: two fully automatic sandblasting machines, a hair-line (brushing) machine and a knurling machine. This lets us deliver stamped parts with the surface quality your product needs, all under one roof.

Stamping is especially strong in automotive and electronics. For a German automotive electronics customer, we integrated sheet metal stamping with laser welding to produce ECU housings, cutting delivery lead time from six weeks to three weeks while keeping dimensional consistency across mass-production batches.

Every stamped batch is controlled against drawings from first article to final inspection, and key dimensions are re-measured with precision equipment before shipment — so you receive parts you can feed straight into your assembly line.

Laser cutting on the sheet metal fabrication line

4. Sheet Metal Fabrication

Sheet metal fabrication turns flat sheet into finished enclosures, chassis, panels and structural assemblies through laser cutting, bending, welding and surface treatment. It is the process behind equipment housings, racks, covers and heat-dissipation structures.

Our fabrication line includes laser cutting machines, a laser welding machine, a laser engraving machine and a hair-line machine, so cutting, forming, joining and finishing run in a continuous flow. With full integration of our sheet metal and CNC processes, cross-process parts are completed in a single order: for example, a heat sink for a communication equipment customer was delivered as one integrated part combining milling, sheet metal bending and laser engraving.

Fabrication work follows the same quality discipline as our machining lines — process inspection records and full photo/video traceability from prototype to mass production. Design changes are handled by our two-shift engineering team, which uses SolidWorks/UG modeling to simulate and validate before a single sheet is cut.

Typical applications: equipment enclosures, control cabinets, brackets, covers, heat sinks and chassis components for communication equipment, electronics and industrial machinery.

Wire EDM cutting a hardened steel workpiece

5. Wire EDM

Wire EDM (electrical discharge machining) uses a thin, electrically charged wire to cut conductive materials — including hardened steel — into precise contours that are difficult or impossible to machine with conventional tools. It is the process of choice for dies, mold inserts and components requiring fine slots, sharp internal corners or mirror-like cut edges.

Our EDM department is equipped with 4 wire cutting machines and 2 sparking (sinker EDM) machines. Wire EDM handles complex 2D contours and precision through-holes with high accuracy, while sinker EDM produces cavities, ribs and complex internal geometries in mold steel. Together they support our in-house tooling and serve customers who need EDM-finished precision parts.

EDM parts leave the machine with excellent edge quality and repeatability, and are verified with the same first-article and final-inspection discipline as our other processes — dimensional reports and inspection records are provided with every order.

Typical applications: stamping dies, injection mold inserts, extrusion dies, precision fixtures, splines, keyways and fine-featured components for medical devices and communication equipment.
